Lonely Rock - Fields, Vertex Maps and Deformers
This project demonstrates a procedural material transition workflow developed in Cinema 4D and rendered with Octane Render. The animation leverages MoGraph Fields, Vertex Maps, and Deformers to drive precise, non-destructive control over the material reveal, enabling smooth spatial blending between multiple surface states.
Custom Octane node-based materials, combined with physically based shading, HDRI lighting, and path-traced global illumination, produce photorealistic reflections, refractions, and surface detail. This workflow highlights the integration of procedural animation techniques with physically accurate rendering to create a cinematic, high-fidelity material transformation.
